Last week, about 2.5 lakh people were rendered homeless after the demolition of nearly 1,000 homes in New Delhi’s Tughlakabad. Despite the Delhi High Court direction, no rehabilitation plan has been shared or initiated by the authorities. People say they were not allowed to even collect their belongings before demolition.
