97 children have died since Russian invasion of Ukraine: Zelensky

During his address to Canadian MPs, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says that almost a hundred children have died during Russian’s invasion of Ukraine.

“They’ve already killed 97 Ukrainian children,” Zelensky said.

He also accused Russia’s military of “destroying everything: memorial complexes, schools, hospitals, housing complexes.”

“We’re not asking for much. We’re asking for justice, for real support, which will help us to prevail, to defend (ourselves), to save lives,” he said.

The wounded children are more than 100.

The bombings and shelling have already damaged more than 400 educational institutions, 59 of which were completely destroyed, according to Ukrin Form.
