Islamophobic slogans and genocidal speeches calling for the killing of Muslims were delivered in Mumbai in a massive Hindutva gathering on Sunday. The speakers associated with the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party and other Hindu nationalist groups urged Hindus to wage war against Muslims in the country.
Leaders and workers of Hindutva militant outfits such as the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Bajrang Dal, and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) marched in the rally. The rally titled as “Hindu Jan Akrosh Morcha” organised by Sakal Hindu Samaj, began from Shivaji Park in Dadar in central Mumbai and culminated at Kamgar Maidan in Parel.
“Hindus should only have one demand. Make the law (against love jihad), or we also know how to make the laws. We also know how to hit. This is a time of war,” Telangana legislator and Hindutva leader T Raja Singh said.
“Every Hindu needs to unite and collectively learn from Chhatrapati Shivaji. Do you know what my Balasaheb Thackrey used to say? That my Hindu should not be the one who rings the bells in a temple, he should be the one who hits and beats his enemies, those who commit love jihad, those who convert. Get ready, my Hindus; you cannot sit silently until there are laws against love jihad. If this does not happen, this tiny spark will become an uncontrollable fire. I want to tell the State and Central governments that today’s Hindu holds the weapon in his hand; he knows how to kill the enemy,” he told thousands of saffron mob.
He went on to say: “We need one Chhatrapati Shivaji from every household. The population of ‘Afzal Khans’ is increasing. We need more Shivajis so that whichever house erupts with an Afzal will be destroyed. It’s time to learn self-defense. Whichever karyakarta/ worker fights against love jihad, conversion, and cow killings need to be physically and financially supported by the government.”
He also urged to boycott of Muslims and their businesses.
“Only buy products from Hindu shopkeepers. Don’t buy from these jihadis. Look for the Halal certificate on the product. If it is there, throw it away. This rupee, if spent, will come back and kill you. Remember that this is not an Islamic nation; it is Bharat, which will soon become Akhand,” he said.
Meanwhile, Raja Singh has been issued a fresh show-cause notice by Hyderabad police for his recent speech at the Hindu Janakrosh Morcha event in Mumbai. The notice issued by the Mangalhat station house officer, dated January 30, refers to a violation of conditions imposed by the Telangana High Court during his release from jail recently. This is the second show-cause notice issued to the MLA by the Hyderabad police in the last two weeks.
Another speaker who delivered a genocidal speech is Hindutva leader Sakshi Gaikwad.
In her speech, she said, “Muslims are like sacrificial lambs, waiting to be sacrificed.”
“This is a warning to Mullas and Miyahs. Beware. This Hindu, in lakhs, will be ready to sacrifice. These men without the mustache (Muslims) seem like sacrificial lambs waiting to be sacrificed. They don’t know that our Goddess Kali gets these lambs (Muslims) in sacrifice. Today is Ashtami, beware, or else you will be sacrificed here,” she said.
“You must have seen Kashmir Files. There will now be another film about Kerala’s 45,000 Hindu women sold in Gulf countries a few years ago. Why do they need the wombs of our women? Have their women’s wombs become a wasteland? Just a few years ago, Mirabai had such a great saint take birth. Now, it is only monsters like Nawab Ali who are born. This is why they need our wombs. Through love jihad, they merely use us. I want to reach out to the Hindu men here. They take away our women; can’t we get Muslim brides (The crowd yelled a yes in unison),” she said.
