Issues such as seat sharing and greater coordination and communication among the parties will be discussed during the meeting on Tuesday.

Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah later hosted the parties for dinner.

Meanwhile, BJP chief JP Nadda announced that the BJP’s mega show of strength in Delhi — to be conducted parallelly with the Opposition’s unity meet in Bengaluru — will be attended by 38 parties. Most of the 38 are smaller allies with pockets of influence and a few or no MPs.
