Sangh Parivar outfits are all factories of lies, says CM Siddaramaiah

Sangh Parivar outfits like the ABVP, Bajrang Dal, BJP Yuva Morcha are all factories manufacturing lies, said Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah in Gadag on Sunday.

In response to complaints raised by some ABVP leaders about students experiencing significant difficulties in commuting to schools and colleges due to all KSRTC buses being occupied by women utilising free rides under the Shakti scheme, the Chief Minister dismissed the claims, stating that the ABVP, as the student wing of the BJP, is primarily focused on spreading lies.

“Sangh Parivar outfits like the ABVP, Bajrang Dal, BJP Yuva Morcha are all factories manufacturing lies. They create fake news and peddle lies only to benefit the BJP and advance the Sangh Parivar’s communal agenda,” Siddaramaiah said.

Responding to the statement of a Hindi seer, Pejavar mutt seer, that India should become a Hindu nation if it has to survive, the senior Congress leader said that this is the slogan of the BJP.

“The Jana Sangh wanted India to become a Hindu nation when it was started in 1950. Ours is a diverse country where not only Hindus live, there are Christians, Muslims, Jains and Buddhists. Our country is a plural country. It is not possible to make a nation only for Hindus. This is the ideology of the BJP. RSS was established by Hegadewar in 1925. Even BJP persons don’t know this”he added.
