Delhi Court Friday allowed bail to Alt News co-founder and prominent Muslim journalist Mohammed Zubair in a "promoting enmity" and FCRA case connected to a 2018 tweet.
The Supreme Court on Monday ordered that the interim protection granted to Alt News co-founder and prominent Muslim journalist Mohammed Zubair by the apex court in the case registered against him by Uttar Pradesh Police will continue until further orders.

Fact-checking website Alt News on Saturday said that it’s co-founder and journalist Mohammed Zubair was being persecuted for fighting “the rot in the system”. Alt News added, “And that makes this our collective fight.”
