Hijab ban in Bengal police recruitment; Result subject to court order: Calcutta HC
Following the rejection of candidatures of at least 1000 Muslim women from the West Bengal Police Recruitment process for annexing hijab clad photographs in their application forms, the Calcutta High Court said that the result of the recruitment process shall abide by the result of Muslim women's petition.
