Nayab Singh Saini, BJP leader and Lok Sabha member from Kurukshetra constituency in Haryana, rammed his car on farmers in Punjab's Ambala on Thursday, leaving farmers injured, alleged farmer bodies.
"Other parties are being allowed. We are being stopped. I will try to go to Lakhimpur Kheri. The prime minister was in Lucknow yesterday but he did not visit Lakhimpur Kheri," Gandhi told reporters.
NCP supremo Sharad Pawar warned the Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday that it will have to pay a heavy price for the Lakhimpur Kheri killings of farmers and asserted that the entire opposition is with the farmers.
This comes after a countrywide protests of farmers and Opposition parties against the violence against farmers.
