Actor Prakash Raj has voiced his concern over the decision to withhold the release of Abir Gulaal, a film starring Pakistani actor Fawad Khan and Indian actor Vaani Kapoor, in India. The film’s release was halted after the militant attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on April 22.
"I am an artist. I'm not a politician participating in electoral politics. But I believe every citizen is a part of politics. People love me because I'm not silent. I love Kerala. I'm here because I'm not comfortable with King Modi's rule," Prakash Raj said in Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram.
Coalition partners Congress and JD(S) won both the state assembly constituencies — Ramanagaram and Jamkhandi — and two of the three Lok Sabha seats —Ballari and Mandya in the Karnataka bypolls today.
They will be joined by veteran actor, Prakash Rai, Kavitha Lankesh and others. This will be followed by an ensemble of folk, rap and classical musical programme, led by Arathi (Bangalore), Sheetal of Kabir Kala Manch( Pune) and renowned musician T M Krishna (Chennai).
