Carlos Alcaraz defeated Novak Djokovic in a five-set thriller to win his maiden Wimbledon title on Sunday. The world number 1 bagged the game 1-6, 7-6 (8/6), 6-1, 3-6, 6-4.

Wimbledon has banned Russian and Belarusian players from the 2022 tournament in response to the invasion of Ukraine.

Wimbledon was cancelled on Wednesday because of the coronavirus pandemic, the first time since World War II that the oldest Grand Slam tennis tournament won't be played.
