A 31-year-old man in North Kerala’s Manjeshwar got arrested on Thursday for lifting a minor and flinging her to the ground without any provocation.
The accused, Aboobacker Siddique, was caught on CCTV camera walking towards the eight-year-old girl and violently lifting her before throwing her on the ground.
The girl was waiting outside the Madrassa for her uncle to pick her up, PTI reported. The incident came to light after her relatives checked the CCTV footage following the girl’s complaint.
After attacking the kid, Siddique walked away.
