Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Rizwan faced chants of ‘Jai Shree Ram’, as he made his way back to the pavilion after losing his wicket during the India vs. Pakistan match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 14.

Jai Shri Ram has emerged as a war cry by Hindu nationalist groups, who have been accused of targeting India’s largest religious minority, Muslims, since Narendra Modi came to power in 2014.
