Wanted Hindutva militant Monu Manesar arrested by Haryana Police, to be handed over to Rajasthan Police

Cow vigilante and Hindutva militant Monu Manesar, who was wanted in connection with the murder of two Muslim men from Rajasthan and for inciting the violence in Nuh in July, has been arrested by the Haryana Police

Manesar was arrested on 12 September, Tuesday, under bailable sections of the Information Technology Act.

He is likely to get bail by evening and the Rajasthan Police will take him into custody in the double-murder case, say sources.

Manesar is on the run as an accused in the Junaid-Nasir murder case, where the bodies of two Muslim men from Rajasthan’s Bharatpur were found burnt inside a car in Haryana’s Bhiwani in February this year.

He was also accused of inciting anti-Muslim violence in Nuh last month.
