‘Leaked’ trailer of Prithviraj’s ‘Aadujeevitham’ promises an epic survival drama

The first trailer of Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Aadujeevitham aka The Goat Life was released on Friday after a Festival cut was leaked to the public. Aadujeevitham is director Blessy’s screen adaptation of Malayalam novelist Benyamin’s best seller that goes by the same name.

The film is said to be based on a true story about an Indian stranded in the Arabian desert to herd goats.

The three-minute trailer, with stunning visuals, introduces the audience to migrant worker Najeeb (Prithviraj), who left his family and village to find work in the Middle East and end up in a nomadic tent. AR Rahman’s background score is yet another attraction.

The film crew said the post-production isn’t complete and this would not be the official trailer. The release date is also yet to be announced.

For the film that was announced over a decade ago, Prithviraj lost around 24 kgs. Aadujeevitham has been filmed in Algeria, Jordan and India.

Actor Amala Paul plays the wife of Najeeb.

After wrapping the film’s shoot, Prithviraj shared a few pictures from the sets of the movie and had written, “14 years, a thousand obstacles, a million challenges, three waves of a pandemic…one spectacular vision!”
