Israeli police raided the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem on Friday. It was the most serious violence at the holy site in nearly a year. 

"Both the Kashmiris and the Palestinians have much in common. Just like Palestine, the Kashmir is heavily blockaded and highly militarized by the state. Despite their human rights violations they claim to survive in what can be described 'as an open air prison'" says Iqra, a college student from Kashmir.

“If (Israel) wants to escalate, we are ready for it, and if it wants to stop, we’re also ready,” Ismail Haniyeh, Hamas’s leader who currently lives outside the strip, said in a televised address.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan vowed to mobilise the world to stop Israeli “terror”, in phone calls Monday to Palestinian leaders.

Instagram has suspended the account of DOAM, (Documenting Oppression Against Muslims), a social media collective which documents violence against Muslims across globe, after it uploaded the visuals of attack on Al Aqsa Masjid.
