Punjab legislators on Tuesday condemned Enforcement Directorate raids on the premises of rebel Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA and former Leader of the Opposition of Punjab Assembly, Sukhpal Singh Khaira.

After the Central government debarred the 700-member group of Sikh pilgrims from going to Pakistan to mark the first centenary of the Nankana Sahib massacre, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) Friday sent a set of books to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah each to make them realise the importance of the massacre in the Sikh history and its role in the freedom struggle of the country.
