In a social media post on Tuesday, the sensational Palestinian photojournalist from Gaza Motaz Azaiza said he decided to evacuate from Gaza after 107 days of Israel’s genocidal war on the besieged enclave.
Azaiza gained global attention and gained more than 18 million followers on Instagram, for his coverage of Israel’s atrocities and the war-torn life in Gaza.
He was named the GQ Middle East’s Man of the Year 2023 and received the TRT World Citizen Communicator Award. He dedicated the TRT award to Palestinian journalists killed in the war.
