Andhra Pradesh high court slams university of Hyderabad

 

In an incident-packed the day at AP High Court justice Sanjaykumar slammed the university of Hyderabad for its authoritarian stand in recent happenings.

Yesterday at about 6.30 adv Gunaratan Sadavarte along with adv Bhim rao were barred from meeting their clients and were abused by university authorities. Against the same a complaint was lodged with commissioner of police, Cyberabad and Chief justice high court of AP. Today matter was heard by honorable justice Sanjay Kumar. Honorable justice remarked in open court ” the university has become a fortress and universities should have access to all. ” and further said “earlier this university was not like this and had good reputation” and “You cannot deny access to advocates from meeting their clients”.

Before passing these remarks, Adv. Gunratan reminded that we are not JNU, FTII and HCU students to be threatened by ABVP and Bajarang Gal, At that time the opposite advocate told to the court to mention the purpose of visit, where the entire court has laughed at him and Adv. Gunratan sarcastically replied that he is from vipashyana family.

The cases pertaining to Podile Apparao, Ramachandra Rao, Susheel Kumar, Diwakar and Krishna Chaitanya were posted for 18th April 2016, where by Government pleader was directed to file a counter within a week without fail.
