A shot was fired at gate No. 5 of Jamia Millia Islamia University on Sunday night, Jamia Coordination Committee (JCC) leaders say.
Two people, one of them wearing a red jacket, came on a scooter, the JCC said.
No one was injured, they said.
The incident comes hours after a group of Hindutva activists descended on the Shaheen Bagh in a bid to get the road cleared.
Sunday night’s firing was the third in Delhi in four days at anti-CAA protests.
