Student leaders Rauf Shareef and Masud Ahmed were granted bail by Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court on Friday in Hathras conspiracy case after spending several months in jail under draconian UAPA.
Rauf Shareef was national general secretary of now banned Muslim student outfit Campus Front of India while Masud Ahmed is a student of Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.
“Alhamdulillah, Raufka got bail in UAPA case,” Rauf Shareef’s wife Fathima Bathool wrote on WhatsApp status.
Danish, another Muslim youth languishing in jail under draconian UAPA in Hathras conspiracy case was also granted bail today.
