Protest outside Haryana Bhavan in Delhi over Nuh violence, more than 50 detained

More than 50 people were detained by Delhi Police on Thursday while protesting against the Haryana violence in New Delhi.

The protest outside Haryana Bhavan in New Delhi was organised by 22 organisations including rights groups, student groups and farmers unions.

The detainees are in Mandir Marg Police Station now, Fraternity Movement national vice president Nujaim PK said to Maktoob.

The protesters carried placards “Islamophobia down down”, “Arrest Monu Manesar” and “Stop demolishing Muslims’ homes in Nuh.”

Some students including women students said they were manhandled up by police personnel deployed outside the Haryana Bhavan.
