Israeli air strike hits mosque in West Bank refugee camp

Two deaths have been reported as well as several injuries in an Israeli airstrike on Al Ansar mosque in Jenin refuge camp in the West Bank.

Israel confirmed on Sunday that it carried out an air strike in the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank.

The attack killed at least two Palestinians and wounded several others.

The Israeli military said the strike on the Al-Ansar mosque, located in Jenin refugee camp, killed several people from Hamas and Islamic Jihad.

According to reports, some residents received text messages on their phones warning them to avoid collaborating with the Jenin Brigade, one of the largest and most popular groups in the West Bank. The messages also said to keep children inside.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces killed five Palestinian children during a military incursion into Nour Shams refugee camp in the northern occupied West Bank.

At least 84 Palestinians were killed in the West Bank while over 1,400 people were injured. This includes 26 children.
