Israel bulldozes, buries alive dozens at Gaza hospital

Israeli bulldozers have trampled over the tents used by Palestinians taking shelter outside Kamal Adwan Hospital and brutally crushed them, reported Al Jazeera and media outlets in Palestine.

“A terrifying massacre and unspeakable scenes. What the Israeli occupation did inside Kamal Adwan Hospital is a horrific crime against citizens and medical staff,” Anas al-Sharif, Al Jazeera Arabic journalist, said in a post on X.

“Dozens of displaced, sick and wounded people were buried alive. The occupation [Israeli] bulldozers trampled the tents of the displaced people in the hospital yard and brutally crushed them,” he said.

In a video, an emotional al-Sharif explains that Israeli forces had currently withdrew, but that “a major despicable act occurred at Kamal Adwan”. The video then cuts to scenes of the destroyed courtyard, with earth and bricks overturned into mounds, under which are dead bodies.

He then turns the camera to what looks like a dismembered limb, saying: “This is the body of an injured refugee who was in the hospital … the Israeli bulldozers ran him over.”

“There needs to be an urgent probe into these reports,” health minister Dr Mai al-Kaila said in a statement.
